We built The Whiskered Mug out of a lifetime of living with, learning from, and advocating for cats. Our veteran background shaped a disciplined respect for safety, hygiene, and mission focus, and our community ties showed us how much Spartanburg needed a calm, cat-first space. We chose medical-grade design, feline-only boarding, and a rescue-centered lounge so every visit supports healthier cats, stronger adoptions, and a more connected city.
